After two sessions in classrooms and the youth facilitator training, it's time for them to act! The Institut international des droits de l'Homme et de la paix goes to classrooms in March for a third time in the schools, this time to help the creation of the project of the class. A very important step in the "Walk the (Global) Walk" program in Normandy.

The development of a project class

After the the youth facilitator training one month ago, they are now aiming to boost the creation of a class project, in favor of the Sustainable Development Goal n°11: for more inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable cities and communities.

These projects will be presented in Normandy during the European Week of Sustainable Development, from 30 May to 5 June 2019.

The Institut international des droits de l'Homme et de la paix helps the students in the creation of the projects, during a session in each class to work on the different steps of the conception and the valorization of a project, with the support of the youth facilitators: logistics, coordination, find partners and communication.

These sessions are adapted to the progress of projects. Several tools and activities are proposed according to the progress of the project of each class.
