The second coordination meeting of the Walk the (Global) Walk Project took place from 1st and 2nd of April in Caen, Normandy, France.

All partners, civil society organizations and local authorities from the participant countries attended the meeting in order to check each project’s status, to give a feedback about the past activities in each country, plan the next ones – namely the SDGs Week and the SDGs Global Walks - and plan the Summer School, which will happen in Portugal on the first week of July, occasion when all countries’ representative students and teachers will participate. The participants also took the time to plan the second year of the project.

The meeting was organized by the project’s international coordination - namely the Tuscany Region and Oxfam Intercultura - and was hosted by the Regional Council of Normandy and the International Institute for Human Rights and Peace, two of the project’s partners.

The Walk the (Global) Walk Project is co-financed by the European Comission – Education for Development Line - and Camões – Cooperation and Language Institute I.P. The project will last 36 months and involves 11 countries and 20 partners, including AIDGLOBAL.
