21 inspiring and motivated educators joined the 1st Teacher Training for the 2nd School Cycle. Old and new friends followed the 4 hours workshops in order to deepen their knowledge on SDGs, learn more about SDG 13.
The workshop was opened with two very interesting sessions by Dr Anastasios Mavrakis (Coordinator of Environmental Education in West Attica) who made a presentation about Climate Change and the main global challenges which brings, and Dr Xanthipi Foulidi (Coordinator of Cultural Education in West Attica) who made a presentation about “Innovation in Education”. After that, we presented to the participants the main steps of their participation in the project and the methodology we use. So, we talked about Global Citizenship Education, global competences and the Learn-Think- Act approach. Finally, we implemented in a participative and experiential way activities from the Teachers’ Briefing Pack. We would like to welcome all the educators in Walk the Global Walk Project and wish all a creative and fruitful year in Walk the Global Walk!
