After a year of awareness raising on the SDGs and the development of a class project in favor of SDG 13, several initiatives imagined by the students have emerged.

An ecological school agenda

The students of the Lycée Saint-Joseph in Le Havre have created an ecological school agenda. They designed, laid out and printed it on paper from sustainable forests.

Inside this agenda, the students put anecdotes on sustainable development, climate and ecology, but also a lot of little tips for taking action against climate change. For example: favor seasonal fruits and vegetables, buy second-hand clothes, reduce your shower to 5 minutes. To illustrate this, the students also made drawings.

In total, 400 copies were printed and a little more than 250 were sold, at a unit price of 3€. One of these copies was even given to Hervé Morin, president of the Normandy Region.

Reusable water bottles and tote bags to reduce waste

Other interesting initiatives, the students of the Lycée des Andaines in Orne, who had reusable water bottles and fabric bags made in order to distribute them to the students of their high school. Objective: to reduce the use of plastic bottles and provide ecological bags for picnics and school trips. Well done to them for these great ideas!
