Each year several young Europeans walk together for the Sustainable Development Goals but this march common to all European states participating in Walk the Global Walk cannot take place this year because of the global health situation.
But thanks to the mobile application "Walk United", France suggests that everyone walks in their daily life and can transform their steps into donations for an organization. It's easy, every day you walk, to go shopping, to go to work, to do some physicalactivity... The WalkUnited application collects your steps throughout the day. You can make a donation as soon as you have accumulated 1000 walks.
After a year of reflection and discussions in class on SDG 16 “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”, Walk the Global Walk challenges you to act in favor of the organisation Éco-Responsables Horti-Pôle Evreux highschool which aims to propose and carry out ecological projects in order to preserve biodiversity. The funds collected thanks to your steps will be donated to this organisation! If you arrive at the end of this challenge, well done, another one will be proposed to you!
