After two awareness sessions on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in each class participating in the Walk the Global Walk educational program, three training sessions were organized on January 30, February 3 and 6, 2020 in Caen and Rouen in order to build capacity two students from each class to manage and lead a project in favor of sustainable development.

During this training, 64 students were brought to exchange, share their experiences participate in activities on management and project management in order to deepen their reflection on the Sustainable Development Goals. Objective for these students: to facilitate the creation of a project in favor of sustainable development in their high school.

Indeed, the next stage of the program provides for the development of a class project, in favor of Sustainable Development Objective No. 13: "Measures relating to the fight against climate change". Among the projects proposed by the students, some want to fight against food waste in their high school, collect orphan socks to give them a new life, green their high school, create a podcast program to give advice, information to limit its ecological impact , or even favor the short circuit in the canteen of their high school.

From February to May, the Institute team continues to go to class to support the students in the development of their projects.
