Organized by the public institution "Regional Coordinator of the Region of Istria for European programs and funds" within the project WALK THE GLOBAL WALK, online lectures were held entitled ‘Thunderbolt and lightning very very frightening me’ Interest in the lecture was high, which is why it was held on two dates, December 14 and 16, 2020.
What can we expect when it comes to climate change on Earth? How do they affect food production, will we run out of mandarins, rice or something even more precious to us? What does global warming have to do with drinking water shortages or, for example, anthrax and dementia? Can we do something or is it too late?
The answers to these and many other questions were given by the famous meteorologist Dunja Mazzocco Drvar with the help of clips from the popular "Climate fiction" movies.
The online lectures were attended by a total of 180 students and teachers from the entire Istrian County and several interested parties from other parts of Croatia.
