Under the auspices of the City Hall of Bucharest and Agenda 21 partners, today took place the first awareness raising workshop on the sustainable development objective Sustainable Cities and Communities.
The meeting was attended by the students ambassadors of the National College Bilingv George Coşbuc, Anghel Saligny Technical College, Dante Aligheri Theoretical High School and Theoretical High School Tudor Vladimirescu and representatives of the local authorities in the administrative boards of the educational units as well as of the departments with attributions in sustainable development, urbanism, youth and culture issues in the City Hall and the mayoralties of Districts 2, 3 and 6.
The meeting is part of a series of three scheduled this week, during which the 12 Bucharest schools participating in the European project Walk the Global Walk and the local authorities of Bucharest, the Bucharest City Hall and the 6 Mayoralty Districts.
Active dialogue is the key to the sustainable development of our city.
